About the Season

The Push Back season focused on the design, manufacture, programming, and testing of a competitive VEX U robot system. As a university-level team, Old Barker Redbacks developed custom mechanisms, manufactured components, and refined autonomous and driver-controlled strategies throughout the season.

Nationals

At the Australian National Championship, Old Barker Redbacks competed against the leading VEX U teams in the region. This event served as the major qualification pathway for international competition and provided the team with the final opportunity to test, improve, and validate the robot before Worlds.

Worlds

Old Barker Redbacks represented Barker Alumni Robotics at the VEX U World Championship. The team competed against international university teams, demonstrating the robot system, engineering process, and competitive development completed across the season.
